We care deeply about the planet and creating a business that gives back to nature. That’s why we’re stoked to share that we’ve partnered with One Tree Planted to plant a tree for every (stamped) pre-pack flower purchase. Tree planting is part of our DNA and we hope to inspire our community to be more environmentally conscious.
Climate
Trees help cool the planet by sucking in and storing harmful greenhouse gas like carbon dioxide into their trunks, branches, and leaves — and releasing oxygen back into the atmosphere.
Biodiversity
A single tree can be home to hundreds of species of insects, fungi, moss, mammals, and plants. Without trees, forest creatures would have nowhere to call home.
Water
Trees play a key role in capturing rainwater and reducing the risk of floods and landslides. Their intricate root systems act like filters, removing pollutants and slowing down the water’s absorption into the soil.
The people who make it possible
Our nonprofit partner, One Tree Planted is on a mission to make it simple for anyone to help the environment by planting trees. Their projects span the globe and are done in partnership with local communities and knowledgeable experts to create an impact for nature, people, and wildlife. Reforestation helps to rebuild forests after fires and floods, provide jobs for social impact, and restore biodiversity.
